IFTA Welfare Trust is trying to Reconstruct/Build New Houses Best Shelter / Accommodation
IFTA communities in Balochistan and Sindh have been overwhelmed by devastating floods, and other areas in KP and Southern Punjab are at risk. The rains have not ceased, and the impact of the floods is expected to grow in terms of its geographic spread as well as the intensity of misery it inflicts. Many of our Houses are flooded or serving as refuge for displaced families have lost their homes, and livelihoods across our communities have been swept away by the advancing waters.
GOTH BABAR WADA, KOT DIJI, DISTRICT KHAIRPUR
In the small village of Babar Wada, comprising of total 18 houses a total of 14 houses were destroyed during the recent floods in Sindh province. Most of the 14 houses comprise of a single hall along with a bathroom in a compound wall.
Proposal is to build 14 homes comprising of the following:
One 12’ by 12’ room
One 4’ by 4’ washroom
For 7 to 9 people

Project Timeline
Estimated timeline of construction of one dwelling is 14 days. Considering the urgency of matter, it is proposed that the 14 houses are built within one month. This means that 7 teams of masons and labours will be required to complete the job in the stipulated one-month time.
Request for support
Considering the data in Table 1 and adding 10% contingency cost we solicit funds of Rupees 450,000 per dwelling. Total funding requirement is of Rupees 6,300,000.
